Rai's Awakening
The awakening was brutal. Dust floated in the rare sunbeams piercing through the dilapidated temple.
Rai placed his hand on his forehead, feeling the drying blood. His memory was hazy, but a voice still echoed in his mind: "Find Atsu."
He stood up with difficulty. The journey had only just begun.
The morning mist shrouded the ruins in a silent cloak. Each of Rai's steps echoed on the broken stone slabs, waking echoes of a forgotten time. He observed the faded frescoes on the walls, trying to decipher clues about his past or the direction to take. The wind rushed through the broken arches, whispering incomprehensible secrets.
The temple seemed to have been abandoned for centuries. Thick vines climbed along the cracked marble columns, and nature was slowly reclaiming its rights over the work of men. Rai wondered who could have built such a place, and why he had woken up there alone, injured and lost.
Moving towards the center of the navy, he saw a black stone altar. A faint glow emanated from it, flickering like a candle about to go out. Intrigued, he approached cautiously, hand on the hilt of his dagger, ready for any eventuality. Every muscle in his body was tense, on the lookout for the slightest suspicious noise in this mystical darkness.
The sounds of the surrounding forest entered through the openings in the roof. The distant singing of birds and the rustling of leaves brought a strange contrast to the solemn silence of the ruins. Rai took a deep breath, trying to calm the wild beating of his heart. He knew time was pressing and he couldn't afford to linger here.
Suddenly, a cracking sound was heard behind him. He spun around, dagger brandished, but there was nothing but the shadow of a branch swaying in the wind. A sigh of relief escaped him. The accumulated tension was beginning to play tricks on him, and he had to stay focused if he wanted to survive the dangers that awaited him outside.
He resumed his march towards the main exit. The rays of the sun were beginning to dissipate the mist, revealing a landscape of green hills that stretched as far as the eye can see. The outside world seemed vast and unknown, full of promises but also of invisible threats. Rai clenched his fists, determined to discover the truth about his identity and the mysterious voice.
Each step brought him closer to the exit of the temple and the beginning of his quest. Doubts assailed him, but his will remained unshakable. He promised himself not to falter, no matter what obstacles stood in his way. Rai's destiny was now in motion, traced by an anonymous voice in the ruins of time.
